There's all this talk about Detroit's comeback, not only in Detroit but around the world.

Local filmmakers Cody Stauber and Steve Foran, who work for a suburban film company, and have a little side company of their own, Hazel House, put together a satirical Public Service Announcement poking a little fun at it all. It's called "Save Detroit."

Stauber, who stars in the video, says it's meant to be humorous, but also have a message of hope.

The 1 minute, 17 second video, ends with the words: "Like what you hear, let's change what you see."

In the video, he says a lot of positive things like "housing is cheap." He says that in front of boarded up homes.

"Everything I say is very positive, but the background imagery is very negative."

He said the message is: More needs to be done so more of Detroit's imagery matches the upbeat words.
