For all the grandiose expectations this year under rookie coach Matt Patricia, things have been pretty awful.
With one game to go, the Lions are 5-10, one of the worst records in the NFL. Fans are fed up again.
So it's logical to wonder: Will Patricia return?
"I’m pretty confident," Patricia said, according to Detroit News coverage by Justin Rogers.
"Everything for me, right now, is just keep moving forward and getting ready for the game this weekend. Like I said, I meet with Mrs. Ford every week, so they’ve been great. Her and her family have been great.”
