A driver screeched her wheels through a small Black Lives Matter demonstration in Taylor Tuesday night, accelerating dangerously close to protesters and running over a bicycle.

Cell phone video of the incident shows the driver pull up to a group of marchers blocking a section of Goddard at Telegraph and sound her horn.

One protester yells, “You gotta wait!", but the woman lurches forward. Multiple demonstrators then grab onto her car. The woman zooms through, hitting a demonstrator’s bike as protesters scream and disperse.

Protesters captured the woman’s license plate and told officers that they want to press charges against the driver. No one was hurt, apparently. One participant says on the video: "Everyone's good, everyone's good."

The Taylor Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

A car crashed into a crowd at a Troy demonstration earlier this month, hitting two people. No one was seriously hurt and police were trying to determine whether it was intentional.
