The Price of Little Caesars' $5 Hot-n-Ready Creeps Up

Whether or not you like Little Caesars pizza, you know about the iconic $5 Hot-N-Ready pizza. Since 2004, it has been available nationally. 

Now, like almost everything else, the price has gone up. It now costs $5.55.

The good news: The pizza comes with one-third more pepperoni. 

"Change is good when it comes to giving our customers more of what they love," Jeff Klein, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars, says in an effusive press release. "And we're changing our iconic Hot-n-Read Classic, adding 33% more savory, meaty pepperoni still at the country's most affordable price."

The $5.55 promotional price could rise again, the press release suggests.

Detroit-based Little Caesars, the third largest pizza chain in the world behind Domino's and Pizza Hut, operates in all 50 states and 27 countries and territories.
